The Michigan Wolverines and Louisville Cardinals each won NCAA Tournament regional finals on Sunday to join Syracuse and Wichita State in the Final Four next week in Atlanta.
Michigan raced out to a 13-0 lead out of the gates and never looked back, defeating Florida 79-59 in the south regional final in Arlington, Texas. It's the first Final Four appearance for Michigan since the "Fab 5" went to the title game in 1993. Michigan will face Syracuse in the second National Semifinal game at approximately 7:49 next Saturday night. Syracuse defeated Marquette yesterday to win the east region.
A dominating performance in the second half lead overall top seed Louisville to an 85-63 win over Duke in the midwest regional final in Indianapolis. The Cardinals will make their second consecutive Final Four appearance. They'll face upstart Wichita State next Saturday in the first semifinal game at 5:09 p.m.
