GREEN BAY (WFRV) Green Bay East High School students got a lesson today on the dangers of texting and driving from Josh Sitton. East Senior Lorissa Vandenhoogen was drawn as the winner of AT&T's "Take Sitton to School" contest. Sitton spoke at an all school assembly, after having a VIP lunch with Vandenhoogen and several of her friends. The message was simple: texts can and should wait.

"If it just puts the bug in the ears of a couple kids, it'll help save a couple of lives maybe," said Sitton.

Vandenhoogen agrees.

"I don't feel the need to put myself or others in harm's way just because I feel like texting," she said.
