Waupun police are talking to a person of interest about nearly a dozen bomb threats that have been made across the area since Sunday.
WAUPUN, Wis. (WFRV) - Waupun police are talking to a person of interest about nearly a dozen bomb threats that have been made across the area since Sunday.

The latest one happened early this morning, when someone called in to Waupun Junior/Senior High School. A search of the school was made by police, but nothing was found.

Children were able to return to school, though about 500 out the school's 2,000 students stayed home because of the threats. Those students were given excused absences.

Piggly Wiggly, Marine Credit Union, and the library are some of the other places that have been threatened.

Police are also searching phone records for clues.
