Sex trafficking awareness

A local coffee shop hosted a fundraiser to raise awareness for sex trafficking.
Little Chute, Wis. (WFRV) - Sex trafficking is a global issue. But recently we've seen a spike in activity in the Fox Cities. Now, one local organization is doing something about it.

5 Stones held a fundraising event at Seth's Coffee and Bake Shop in Little Chute called "Soup and Songs". The idea was to raise awareness to the growing problem in the community.

"Anyone can become a victim of trafficking, its people in your own community that can be trafficked so letting kids know exactly what they look like because they don't always look like slavers they can often be a boyfriend or someone who is offering a shoulder to cry on," says organizer Rebeccah Menning.

All funds raised go towards education and law enforcement assistance.
