Friday night, St. John's Homeless Shelter opened its doors for the winter.
Green Bay, Wis.(WFRV)- St. John's Homeless Shelter in Green Bay is opening its doors for the season Friday night.

In September, Green Bay City Council agreed to allow the shelter to raise their capacity to 84 beds from the previous limit of 64.

Earlier in the week, St. John's hosted an open house letting the public inside to see what life is like to live homeless.

The shelter will remain open through the end of April.
