GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV)- The highest ranking enlisted Marine was in town Saturday, honoring Wisconsin marines at their Marine Corps ball. November 10 was the Corps' 238th birthday.

"This month is a very special month for all Marines," said Sgt. Major Micheal Barrett. "It's an opportunity and a privelge to be up here tonight, in Green Bay, spending it with the Bulk Fuel Marines."The Bulk Fuel unit is made up of mostly reservists.

This is Barrett's second trip to Wisconsin and first time inside Lambeau Field. Mayor Jim Schmitt was there to welcome them to Green Bay.

"This is a community that just loves the military," said Schmitt. "And to have the highest ranking gentlement in town today, it's an honor. It's an honor for me to meet him and he feels very good about this community."
