Walmart to host neighborhood meeting

A public meeting to discuss a proposed downtown Green Bay Walmart is scheduled to take place tomorrow night.
GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A public meeting to discuss a proposed downtown Green Bay Walmart is scheduled to take place tomorrow night.

Representatives are inviting residents to the Neville Public Museum at 5:30 p.m.

Walmart has proposed construction of a 150,000 square foot store at the former Larsen Green property.

Meanwhile, the Green Bay City Council has decided against discussion on a referendum request for the Spring ballot.

Today, on Local 5 News at 4:00 p.m., Christopher Naumann with On Broadway, Inc., shared his thoughts on the retailer's proposal.
