From Storm Team 5...
Happy Mother's Day! A beautiful day out there for mom as skies stayed dry and temperatures reached the 60s and 70s. The warmest temperatures by far were north and west of Green Bay and the Fox Valley where the sunshine was not blocked by as many clouds.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies will be the common rule area-wide, with temperatures staying mild in the 50s.
For Monday, there could be a few showers entering southern sections near Fond du Lac for the morning, otherwise partly cloudy skies will be seen across northeast Wisconsin. Temperatures will feel more summer-like once again as they enter the middle to upper 70s in the afternoon. We'll watch for another wave of energy that could produce a few more sprinkles or light rain showers late in the evening.
Tuesday, clouds will begin to exit, with the sunshine really starting to emerge during the back half of the day. Temps will be a little cooler than Monday, dropping back to around 70 degrees for a high.
Sunshine will come out in full force on Wednesday, feeling summer-like in northeast Wisconsin. This will certainly be the pick day of the week! Highs will push into the upper 70s to lower 80s!
You'll have to wait later on this week to get widespread rain chances here locally, but temperatures will still be mild in the 70s. The best days to see some wet weather will likely come on Saturday with a scattering of showers along a cold front. This rain chance will likely carry over into early Sunday morning. Expect temperatures to be cooler behind the front, dropping us back into the 60s for Sunday.
