About Me:

Brenda is originally from Woodstock, Illinois, but moved to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, after being recruited to play on the women’s tennis team at Marian University.

She is pursuing a degree in Digital Media Studies and two minors in Writing and PR. 

At Marian, Brenda works as the Social Media Lead for the Office of Marketing and Communications, a Writing Tutor, and as a Student Mentor for first-year students. 

Brenda is President of Marian’s Communication Association as well as is a writer and editor for the student-led newspaper, The Sabre Voice. 

She was the recipient of Marian University’s Outstanding Communication Student of the Year Award, last May, and hopes to accomplish that title a consecutive year.

Brenda is excited to join the Local 5 News team and further immerse herself in the field of reporting.
