About Me: Millaine fell in love with television at an early age and says, “When other kids wanted cartoons, I’d have on the local news.”
The Appleton native attended college at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and earned a degree in Communications with a minor in Political Science.
Currently, she lives on a fifth-generation dairy farm in Kewaunee County. Millaine and her husband Greg have two sons, Abraham and Theodore. They also have a dog named Gus.
She started at Local 5 News as an intern and was then hired as a producer in 2005. For the first few years, Millaine came into work at 10:30 p.m. for the overnight shift, writing and planning the morning news.
Millaine eventually transitioned into a full-time reporter to continue her passion for telling stories about people in her hometown.
Millaine volunteers with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Kewaunee County Dairy Promotion, and the American Cancer Association and emcees numerous fundraisers throughout the year.
