Your Wisconsin: Bayshores Apparel

Doing the Right Thing

DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) – A pair of local entrepreneurs are doing their part to clean up our local rivers and lakes.

“Our dream would be that as many people that enjoy the waterways, take care of the waterways” says Tanner Hackl, Co-Founder of Bayshores Apparel Company.

Tanner and friend Zach decided to let people wear that same passion on their sleeve.

“We wanted something that people actually like to wear, not something that oh I bought it from a cause. Something that is, I wear this every time it is clean” he says.

Bayshores Apparel Company strives to be just that.

The founders grew up swimming, fishing and boating. They wanted to make sure future generations had the same opportunity.

A portion of the profits from their apparel is donated to organizations that sustain and maintain waterways.

“They are improving the lower side [of the Fox River] with all the dredging and we just wanted to see that through with help from the consumer end” Hackl explains.

The pair of eco-entrepreneurs is working to grow their brand and put profits to work in communities around the nation.
