Democrat Tom Nelson conceded the race at his election event tonight.

Republican Reed Ribble has held the chair since 2010, but chose to retire at the end of his current term.
The race was influenced heavily by both the Presidential Election and the Wisconsin Senatorial race.
The 8th Congressional District includes Brown, Calumet, Door, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, Oconto, Outagamie, Shawano, and Waupaca counties.
