Treatment options for Parkinson’s patients

 (WFRV) – Every year about 60,000 Americans are diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.

There are some effective medications but about half of Parkinson’s patients have “off” episodes between doses, experiencing things like tremors and difficulty walking.

Dr. Robert Hauser of the University of South Florida joined us live with some information.
