BREAKING: Car found in local lake near Lakeside Drive

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) —

UPDATE

A dark colored Chevrolet with Wisconsin plates was pulled from a lake in Mobile Tuesday, October 2nd.

Mobile Police say someone called around 8:30 a.m. and informed them of a vehicle in the water. Officers say the car was not occupied when it was found and believe the car may have been stolen.  Police are not sure how long the car was in the water. 

The windows on the vehicle were down when it was found.

A car has been found in a lake near Lakeside Drive.

A tow truck crew is currently working to pull the vehicle from the water. It is not known if anyone has been injured.
