Celebrating 4-12-15 Day

NEW LONDON (WFRV) — It was a special day Sunday in in northeast Wisconsin.  It was 4-12-15 Day.

The Rawhide Boys Ranch in New London used the date in a social media campaign.  It honored three mighty Green Bay Packers players:  Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, and Bart Starr.  Many called it the perfect way to celebrate the team and the camp for at-risk youth.

“We’re celebrating our 50th anniversary this year,” Rawhide Boys Ranch executive director John Solberg said.  “And we thought, what better way to celebrate our anniversary then to recognize the quarterbacks and others that made a difference in Rawhide’s history. Of course, Bart Starr and Cherry as our founders.”

Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt also proclaimed Sunday as Favre-Rodgers-Starr Day in honor of the quarterbacks.
