Fire Causes $5,000 Worth of Damages to Green Bay House

The Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to a structure fire Monday at 613 South Taylor Street.

Upon arrival around 5:30, a small fire was located in the rear and on the exterior of the structure.

The fire was quickly extinguished and crews found minor extension into the house, causing an estimated $5,000 in damages.

The sole occupant will be displaced until repairs are made.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
