Former First Lady Barbara Bush dies at 92 Years Old

This evening news broke about the passing of former First Lady Barbara Bush at the age of 92. 

On Sunday she decided to decline further medical treatment for health problems she has been battling recently. She was at the hospital for congestive heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 

Mrs. Bush brought a grandmotherly style to Washington with her trademark fake pearl chokers and have no fear about showing her white hair and wrinkles.

At the 1988 Republican National Convention she said “what you see with me is what you get.”

The Bushes were married for 73 years, which if the longest marriage of any presidential couple in American history.
