MENASHA, Wis. (WFRV) – It was the threat of severe weather that led to the Hands Over the Fox event being rescheduled.
Event organizers got together and went back and forth on their decision before opting in favor of postponing it.
The event is meant to bring the community together at the Trestle Trail Bridge, where people will honor those who lost their lives in the Fritse Park Shooting two weeks ago.
If you wanted to attend Sunday’s event, connect with Hands Over the Fox online, to get the latest updates.
“We ask that people send up prayers for good weather on the 31st, but mostly just to stay in touch with us through our Facebook page,” said event organizer Alison Mayer.
Hands Over the Fox will now be held in two weeks on May 31st.
It will go exactly the same as if it had happened Sunday.
