10th annual tree lighting ceremony at the Green Bay Botanical Garden

The five-story tree is constructed of steel and aluminum

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - The 10th annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Green Bay Botanical Garden is being held Monday evening.  The 5-story tree is constructed of steel and aluminum, adorned with 20,000 L.E.D. lights, and topped with an animated 5-foot, 18-point star.

The Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay, Mayor Jim Schmitt, and other notable community members will be participating in the tree lighting.  Other light displays include include "Nature's Grand Medley" - a 15,000 l.E.D. light display that dances along to festive holiday music, a 60-foot walk-through caterpillar, an icicle forest, a "fountain of lights", and several others.

The tree lighting ceremony is from 5 to 7 P.M. Tonight, with the official tree lighting at 5:30 P.M.
