Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle crash on I-41 at State Highway 172 in the Village of Ashwaubenon on Sunday, April 28 around 5:46 p.m.

Police say a 24-year-old Oconto Falls man had been traveling northbound on I-41 taking the ramp to eastbound State Highway 172 when he lost control of his motorcycle.

The motorcycle and the driver, who was wearing a helmet, slid into the north gore area in this location before striking a sign post.

Several citizens stopped to assist the motorcycle driver.  The man was transported to a nearby hospital where he died later on.

Officials say they are investigating the incident and the driver’s name is being withheld.  Neither alcohol or excessive speed appear to have been factors in the crash.
