Six people were arrested early Friday morning after police say they stole a car and broke into nearly 50 cars overnight.

At 4:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to Arthur Blvd. for someone attempting to break into a vehicle.

When officers arrived, the suspects ran from police and drove away in a silver SUV, leading police on a chase.

The car finally came to a stop after stop sticks were deployed by Brown County deputies near Velp and County B in Suamico.

Three adults and three juveniles were taken into custody.

Investigators say the car they were driving was stolen, and they had broken into as many as 50 vehicles throughout the night, some of which in Seymour and Pulaski.

Officials say that the stolen car may also be linked to an incident in Marinette County.

The investigation is ongoing.
