Accused Kidnapper of Jayme Closs Applied for Job Day of His Arrest

Jake Patterson, the man accused of kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing her parents, reportedly applied for a job the same day Jayme escaped from his cabin.

According to a CNN report, on Thursday, January 10, Patterson applied for a job at a Saratoga Liquor Company in Superior, which is about 48 miles away from his cabin in Gordon. In the skills section of the application, he wrote “I’m and honest and hardworking guy. Not much work experience but I show up to work and I’m a quick learner.”

Patterson was arrested later that night and has been charged with two counts of Intentional Homicide and one cont each of Kidnapping and Armed Robbery. He faces life in prison if he’s convicted of Homicide.
