Air Wisconsin Airlines to return to Appleton

Local News

Appleton international airport will welcome Air Wisconsin Airlines Thursday with a celebration.

Although Air Wisconsin is headquartered in Appleton, this will be the airline’s first flight into the city in over ten years.

Airport officials told Local Five that the airline will fly between O’Hare International Airport in Chicago and Appleton, but an official schedule is not yet available.

There will be a reception to welcome Air Wisconsin home starting at 4:30 p.m.

That will be followed by guest speakers at 5 p.m, and a water cannon salute just after 5:30.

All events will take place in the air traffic control tower parking lot.
