Alabama man indicted for attempts to entice Wisconsin girl to engage in incest

SEYMOUR, Wis. (WFRV) — A case investigated by the Seymour Police Department with the assistance of the Prattville Police Department in Alabama has led to a four-count indictment against an Alabama man.

On four occasions between September 27th, 2018 and October 10th, 2018, 28-year-old Tyler Blackmon of Prattville, Alabama attempted to entice a Wisconsin child to engage in acts of incest, a felony under Wisconsin law. 

Blackmon faces four charges of attempting to persuade, induce entice and coerce the child to engage in criminal sexual activity.

To each count, he faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years and up to a lifetime in federal prison. 

It will be prosecuted by the Assitant United States Attorney Daniel R. Humble.
