Aldi is celebrating the grand opening of its second store in Northeast Wisconsin–just this month.
De Pere’s store is formally opening its doors Thursday.
Aldi has 10,000 stores between dozens of countries and two more popped up around town in less than two weeks.
And there may be more Aldi to come, as they want to expand to build 700 more stores by the end of 2022.
The announcement of the store coincided with the roundabout on De Pere’s west side, at Main and Lawrence.
A special ribbon-cutting ceremony might be worth checking out.
There will be food samples, along with a Golden Ticket giveaway–where the first hundred customers get gift cards.
They will cap it off with a golden ticket contest where you could win a year’s worth of free produce.
The ribbon cutting is at 8:25am.
