Alleged Bill Cosby sexual assault victim tells her story

Local News

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — A woman who accused actor Bill Cosby of sexually assaulting her spoke about her experience at a women’s event.

The victim, Victoria Valentino, was the keynote speaker at the Gather for the Girls event held at Gather on Broadway located on 139 N. Broadway Street in Green Bay from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Valentino says event is meant to empower women and to speak out about sexual assault.

She says Bill Cosby sexually assaulted her decades ago.  Cosby took advantage of the fact Valentino’s 6-year-old son passed away after he drowned.

“Well Cosby knew that my son had died and he had held a photograph of my son,” says Valentino.  “He looked at it and he used my grief over my child to get to my roommate who he had the ‘hots’ for, you know.  So in preventing him from assaulting her while she was unconscious, I distracted him, and became the sacrificial lamb.”

Last September, Cosby was sentenced to prison for three to 10 years for drugging and sexually assaulting a woman over 14 years ago.
