UPDATE: Search for missing 3-year-old continues, officials ask for community’s help
TUESDAY 10/19/2021 4:25 p.m.
MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WFRV)- As the Amber Alert and search for the missing Milwaukee 3-year-old continues, local Law Enforcement met with the media with the latest in the investigation.
While limited information was shared, one very clear message was presented during the briefing; they need the community’s help.
Milwaukee Police Department spoke on Tuesday, October 19, discussing the ongoing search for Major Harris. Harris has been missing since Thursday, October 14, where initially authorities believed he was traveling with a homicide suspect.

That suspect, 20-year-old Jaheem Clark, was located on Sunday, October 17. Clark was, as Local Five’s sister station CBS-58 in Milwaukee reported, found dead by Police in what they believe is a “self-inflicted fatal gunshot wound.” The 3-year-old has still not been located at this time.
Police explained that currently, they have no scheduled searches at this point in time. They explain this is because they are waiting for additional evidence or leads to come in that, once vetted, will prompt an official search.
MPD would not give specifics of previous locations or areas they have searched in pursuit of the missing toddler. However, officers did confirm that outside of the Milwaukee area, both locations in Washington County and Dodge County were investigated.
In one of the most recent updates, the vehicle they believed Harris was traveling in was located on Monday, October 18. While they have sent multiple forms of evidence to the Wisconsin Crime Lab, they did confirm that blood was found within the vehicle.
The biggest point Law Enforcement wanted people to take from this Conference was one single point; Law Enforcement needs your help. Already, the assistance from community members in the form of leads and tips has been vital to their investigations. They urge anyone and everyone to come forward with any potentially relevant information. It, as authorities explain, could possibly be the missing piece they need in their investigation.
No additional information has been shared at this time. Local Five will update this story as new details emerge.
