The American Red Cross is holding Super Donor Days at Shopko Hall in Ashwaubenon.
The two day blood drive began Monday and is continuing through noon on Tuesday. The event is held around July 4th every year to help increase the organization’s supply of blood donations. The Red Cross is currently facing a blood shortage, which is typical this time of year.
“Summer is a really hard time for the American Red Cross,” says Jessica Brabant, Donor Recruitment Account Manager. “We still need our donors, as well as new donors, to come out and give so that we can keep our supplies high.”
If you aren’t able to make Super Donor Days, but want to donate blood, you can find a list of Red Cross blood drives in your area here.
