An Oshkosh Man Is In Custody For Making Threats Towards a Facility and Employees

Update: 44-year-old Brian Jacoby was formally charged by the Winnebago County District Attorney’s Office for making Terrorist Threats on Wednesday. 

Jacoby threatened to go to the Winnebago Mental Health Institution and shoot several people. 

When Officers found several loaded firearms at his home where they took him into custody. 


A 44-year-old Oshkosh man is in custody after he made threats involving the Winnebago Mental Health Institution facility and its employees. 

The Oshkosh Police Department took the man into custody just after 1:00 pm Monday. 

The man was a former employee of the company.
