Appleton businesses temporarily closed after shooting

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) — Businesses in Appleton are announcing temporary closures after a shooting that killed an Appleton firefighter.

The Appleton Public Library said they are closing their doors until further notice because of the incident.

The Valley Transit Center has asked people to avoid the Valley Transit Center until it is reopened.
