The Appleton Christmas Parade – the largest nighttime parade in the Midwest – is taking place on Tuesday, November 21st.

In 2016, the parade drew an estimated 80,000 spectators, and had a television audience of over 100,000.

The parade’s theme this year is “Our Wish for the Season: Peace, Joy, & Harmony”.  It will feature about 75 units, including floats, decorated vehicles, walking units, animal entries, and 20 marching bands from Northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan high schools and area communities.

The parade begins with a police escort at State Street and College Avenue, and travels east down College Avenue, ending a Drew Street.  The parade begins at 7 P.M.  Anyone not heading down to the parade can watch it broadcast live on Local 5 News.
