Appleton Mayor Explains Gabriel Furniture Redevelopment

Local News

With the announcement of Gabriel Furniture closing this year, the common council recently approved the renovation and development of the building, as well as build two new buildings next door.

The project will be taken on by Fore Development and will be called Gabriel Lofts. It will have retail and commercial space on the ground floor facing College Avenue, and about 20 new living spaces above.

Many residents are wondering how the project will be funded, and who will be paying for what. Mayor Tim Hanna explained the next steps in the process during his Community Update on Local 5 This Morning.
