Appleton mom shares her story on the importance of fostering

APPLETON, Wis.- Erica Kiel and her husband were already adoptive parents of two but as their children grew so did Erica’s feelings of wanting to be a foster parent. 

She shared her story with Local Five reporter Paul Evansen on Mother’s Day in hopes of encouraging others to consider becoming foster parents. 

Currently, the need for foster parents in Outagamie and Calumet counties alone has nearly tripled.
