Appleton Strikes Water Deal with Clayton, Hanna Addresses Concerns

Local News

Mayor Tim Hanna says that the Town of Clayton came to the city asking for a water agreement two years ago. During his Community Update on Local 5 This Morning, Hanna said that he struck the proposal down and told them to “do the right thing” and work out a border agreement with the Village of Fox Crossing. He says that an agreement was never worked out, and that’s when Appleton struck a deal with Clayton and that they are “happy to take them on as a customer.”

Hanna also talked about the 48th Annual Downtown Appleton Christmas Parade happening next week, and all the fun in store for the largest nighttime parade in the Midwest.

He also mentioned the importance of Small Business Saturday, and what kind of impact the community can make if they shop locally.
