Audit called for in Hotel Northland financing after several defaults

GREEN BAY, WI (WFRV) We’re now getting a better picture of the financial troubles plaguing a major renovation project in downtown Green Bay. Several loans for the project have defaulted, causing work at the Hotel Northland to slow dramatically as the project’s contractors pull workers off the project. The remaining workers have been moved – to a four-day work week. Now, Green Bay city leaders are calling for an audit of the hotel’s finances… Local Five’s Terry Kovarik has the details.
