Aurora BayCare Celebrates National Doctor’s Day, March 30

Local News

March 30th is National Doctor’s Day!

Doctors Local 5 talked to say they work toward one specific goal: to help patients and make a difference in their lives.

Aurora BayCare Medical Center celebrated by having staff sign ‘Happy Doctors Day’ posters for the medical staff.

One physician says there are many rewarding parts about working in the medical field.

That common goal is just to help patients get either what they need or make them make them feel better, said Aurora BayCare OB/GYN Kimberly Winburn. I think it’s a very generalized term, but I think we’re all trying to work toward that.

National Doctor’s Day dates back to 1933 in Georgia.

Doctors at Aurora BayCare received portable phone charges as a gift from the hospital.
