GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV)
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin has a new home after nearly three decades.
A ribbon cutting at their new office in the Rail Yard Innovation District brought community leaders and the public out to show off their new space.
The new facility will help facilitate growth in their mentoring programs and being in Downtown Green Bay will also help retain and attract talent. But Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Kate Hess, says the nonprofit also had some growing pains.
“This move has been a long time coming, we’ve been planning it internally for a couple of years but we’ve been at our old facility for three decades and at this point our staff just got big, our programs grew too big and we had to move to a bigger and better place.”
You can find them at 520 N Broadway Suite 220 in Green Bay.
