UPDATE: Body Found on Lake Michigan Shoreline Identified

MANITOWOC COUNTY, Wis. (WFRV) -

According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department, the body found on the shore of Lake Michigan Tuesday has been identified as Minhbao Pham, 38, of Fresh Meadows, New York.

According to the report, Pham is the person witnesses noticed to be "potentially drowning" on May 1st.

The official cause of death is pending the results of an autopsy, performed yesterday, which may take several weeks.

According to the Manitowoc County Sheriff's Department, the body of an adult male was located about a mile and half south of Hika Bay Park in Cleveland.

At 4:01 p.m. Tuesday, the Manitowoc County Joint Dispatch Center received a call of a body on the shoreline of Lake Michigan in southern Manitowoc County.

Officials say investigators and the Manitowoc County Coroner's Office are working together to determine the identity of the adult male and the cause of death.
