The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals has granted the State of Wisconsin’s request to hear Brendan Dassey’s case.
Dassey and his uncle Steven Avery were convicted in the death of Teresa Halbach. Their stories were made famous through the Netflix documentary “Making A Murderer.”
In June, a three judge panel ruled that Dassey’s confession to helping his uncle Steven Avery rape and murder Teresa Halbach was coerced.
