Brewers Fans Excited To See Team Beat Cubs, Advance To Playoffs

Brewers fans were bouncing off the walls with excitement after the Brewers beat the Cubs in Monday afternoon’s tiebreaker game. 

Over at R and D’s House Divided, which normally sees Packers and Bears fans, the patrons came to cheer on the Brewers.

 “It was really exciting, I’ve been watching them all season, and it’s just rest that they were able to pull off this game against the Cubs,” Chris Conrad, a Brewers fan, said.

The Brewers won the NL Central championship and will advance into the first round of the playoffs.

“It’s awesome!” Todd Crapeser, a Brewers fan, said. “I mean they finally got their due, how many years has this been since they have been in the playoffs, so we’re so excited that they’re finally in the playoffs, it’s awesome, they won the division, it’s awesome.”

Cubs fans remain hopeful, as  Chicago will play in the wild card game on Tuesday.

“It happens you know there’s always next year, but actually next year is here right now so it’s all good,” Tom Becker, a Cubs fan, said.
