Broadway District Lighting Ceremony Happening Friday Night

Local News

The Broadway District is about to get a lot brighter with tonight’s annual lighting ceremony!

Activities include cookie decorating, horse-drawn sleigh rides, and visits with Santa.

The official countdown to the illumination will be officiated by Mayor Jim Schmitt at 5:30 p.m. on the corner of Broadway and Hubbard Street.

The annual Gingerbread Home Tour on Broadway will also kick off during the lighting ceremony. You’ll be able to vote online through New Year’s Eve for your favorite gingerbread house.

The lighting ceremony will run from 5-8 p.m. tonight.
