Car Crashes into School Bus During Morning Commute

The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car versus bus crash Monday, December 3rd around 7:25 am at the intersection of Church Road and Sugarbush Road in the Town of Aniwa. 

Their initial investigation showed the school bus had been traveling east on Church Road when a southbound Pontiac coupe continued through the intersection from Sugarbush Road, hitting the school bus near the driver side engine. 

The school bus driver and one child were transported from the scene with non-life threatening injuries. Another child was transported from school to be checked for non-life threatening injuries as well. 

The driver of the Pontiac was treated at the scene.

The Wisconsin State Patrol continues the investigation into the crash.
