There are many issues surrounding our children that can be difficult to understand, or to even talk about. Things like sex trafficking, abuse, and neglect are all things we never hope any child experiences – but unfortunately, they occur throughout Wisconsin.
On September 15th, dozens of social workers, attorneys, judges, and CASA volunteers are meeting at St. Norbert College for the 17th annual “I am for the Child” conference.
Kelly Schwartz, Wisconsin CASA Director of Program Administration, stopped by Local 5 This Morning to talk about what will be discussed at the conference, and why it’s important to tackle these issues head on.
