Rawhide Inc., which offers programs for at-risk youth in Wisconsin has entered negotiations to acquire CHAPS Academy.

The faith based charity says they have begun the process of buying the horse therapy facility in Shiocton. CHAPS recently announced it was closing at the end of January because of financial challenges. Rawhide says the Academy will complement the community-based mental health counseling already being implemented in their organization.
