Outagamie County (WFRV) We have an update on the remarkable story of Charlie Knuth.
He is the little boy from the fox cities who underwent treatment for a painful and deadly skin disease.
Since Charlie’s story became public 6 years ago- many people have been following his progress.
Charlie was four when his parents began their battle with health insurance companies to get him treatment. His treatment included out-of-state trips for stem cell transplants.
Plus the community came together to donate money and more to help the Knuth’s update their home for Charlie.
Now Charlie is ten years old and thriving.
Local 5’s Chelly Boutott caught up with the family in Darboy and shows us how much this little boy fighting for his life has grown up.
