GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — Summer is almost here in Green Bay and that means downtown events and fun in the sun.

Representatives from Downtown Green Bay, Inc., Olde Main Street Inc., and On Broadway, Inc.and Mayor Eric Genrich were all part of the launch of Summer in the City events guide Wednesday morning.

This guide showcases hundreds of downtown events, concerts, farmers markets, food experiences and much more

There will be many pamphlets around Brown County with information on events like the popular Summer in the Park concerts, the Farmers Market on Broadway, Friday’s on the Fox and the Summer Solstice at Whitney Park. The Green Bay Parks & Rec will also have a pamphlet out showcasing their events throughout the summer.

At the launch event, Downtown officials talked about an American cuisine crawl in Downtown as well as theater in the park at Whitney Park.

The ever-popular Taste on Broadway will return but with a twist. The event has been moved to the end of June and will also profile street food.

Green Bay was also chosen as a LevittAMP Music Series Grant recipient. LevittAMP brings in up and coming artists and musicians from all over the United States. These concerts will take place on June 18th through the end of August at Memorial Park.
