City of Green Bay Observing Earth Hour by Shutting off Architectural Bridge Lights

It began in 2007 and is now the world’s largest grassroots movement for the environment  Earth Hour.

In honor of Earth Hour, the City of Green Bay will shut off the architectural lighting on the bridges.

This will happen Saturday, March 30th from 8:30 to 9:30pm. It will NOT affect any street lights or navigational lights. 

Citizens are also encouraged to participate in shutting down lights and other electronics in honor of Earth Hour.
