Construction is in its final stage at the Green Bay Booyah’s new baseball stadium in Ashwaubenon.

Friday, the front gates were being installed at Capital Credit Union Park. The goal is to have most of the main construction, like the installation of seats, by the end of next week. The organization says they’re excited to debut their park in the coming weeks.

“There’s been a few ups and downs with delays leading through the spring, with the different weather patterns that we’ve had, but overall we’re pretty pleased with the progress,” said Booyah Vice President John Fanta. “Just seeing the end result and it kind of unfold right before our eyes has been exciting.”

The park will open with a Green Bay Voyageurs soccer game on Friday, May 31st, and the Green Bay Booyah’s first baseball game will be the following day on Saturday, June 1st. Ticket information can be found here.
