Convery sentenced to 6.5 years in prison for crash

A man from Brown County, convicted in connection with a deadly crash in 2015, has been sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison. 
In July of 2015, John Convery lost control of his pickup and jumped the curb, killing Brian Delebreau and injuring Paul Price. The crash happened near the Georgia-Pacific Broadway Mill in Green Bay.
Convery appeared in a Brown County courtroom where he was facing five charges, including homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. He was found guilty on the charges of homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, possession of a controlled substance and reckless driving.
