De Pere Police, Firefighters, and EMS to be Recognized Tuesday, Feb. 26

Ten Civic Clubs within the City of De Pere have joined together to set aside a day to honor the services of their public safety servants. The Fourth Annual City of De Pere Public Safety Recognition dinner is Tuesday, February 26. 

These Civic Clubs will host the annual dinner at the Swan Club to recognize the contributions of our bravest and finest public safety servants. The reception begins at 5:00 p.m., with dinner being served at 6:00 p.m. and the ceremony beginning at 6:45 p.m.

All of the Civic Clubs felt strongly that it’s the perfect time for an outward expression of appreciation and unwavering support for our police officers and fire fighters.

Detective Sergeant Nathan Mrstik has been selected as the Police Department’s award recipient for his professionalism and initiative to protect the safety of our citizens. Lieutenant Todd Hendricks, Fire Fighter/EMT Daniel Hermans and Fire Fighter/Paramedic Daniel Lotter will be honored for their professionalism, compassion and humanity..

Detective Sergeant Nathan Mrstik, Lieutenant Todd Hendricks, Fire Fighter/EMT Daniel Hermans and Fire Fighter/Paramedic Daniel Lotter will be presented with awards acknowledging their outstanding service to the City of De Pere. Further, they will receive a monetary award to be donated to the charity of their choosing, in their name.

Local 5 This Morning’s Brittany Falkers will be the Master of Ceremonies again for the event.
